BIOGRAPHY
Amardeep Singh teaches postcolonial literature and British modernism in the English department at Lehigh University. His book, Literary Secularism: Religion and Modernity in Twentieth-Century Fiction, appeared in 2006, and he has published articles on these topics in journals such as The Minnesota Review and Criticism: a Quarterly. Professor Singh has recently completed a book on the filmmaker Mira Nair, and is presently at work on a book on modernism in South Asia, in support of which he received an NEH grant in 2011. He is also active engaging with current events on social media.
